Oltrecensura (over-censorship) is a photography and video project that seeks to highlight the absurdity of taboos surrounding the human body. Instead of being appreciated for the incredible things it can do, the body is censored for simply being naked—something that, of course, doesn’t happen in nature.
The project compares the human form to "naked nature," focusing on plants and flowers that resemble genitalia in shape. But what would happen if these plants were censored and rendered unrecognisable by that same censorship, like shapeless masses of flesh?
